Since its very first conference in 2011, GEOTEC HANOI has embarked on a journey connecting the Vietnamese geotechnical community with experts, scientists, engineers, and businesses worldwide.
Through the milestones of 2011 – 2013 – 2016 – 2019 – 2023, each GEOTEC HANOI has served not only as a platform to update the latest advancements in geotechnical science, technology, and engineering but also as a space where ideas are shared, professional connections are forged, and practical infrastructure challenges are collaboratively discussed.
From 450 delegates across 24 countries and territories in its first edition to over 1,200 delegates from 40 countries at GEOTEC HANOI 2023, this 15-year journey is a testament to the continuous growth of an international academic forum initiated and sustained in Vietnam.
And that journey continues.
GEOTEC HANOI 2026 – the 6th conference – will return with new themes, leading experts, and forward-looking dialogues shaping the future of geotechnics and sustainable infrastructure.
